How tipt works, where the fees go, and how to launch from your own code.
How it works
tipt launches coins on Float, which runs on Raydium LaunchLab. Every coin is paired with a token (SOL, USDC, a tokenized stock, and more), starts at a market cap of about $20,000, and graduates to a Raydium pool at about $150,000. Its liquidity is then locked forever.
When you launch, you pick an X account. That account's share of the coin's trading fees goes to a vault made just for it. The owner logs in with X to prove the account is theirs, and claims. They never need a wallet to receive.
Vaults are tied to the account's numeric X ID, not its name. If the account renames, the fees stay with it. If someone else takes the old name, they get nothing.
Fees
The launcher picks a trading fee of 1%, 2% or 2.5% per buy and sell. Raydium keeps its own 0.25%. Float splits the rest the same way for every coin:
Example: $100,000 of volume on a 2.5% coin makes $2,500 in fees, and $125 of that goes to the X account. tipt keeps 10% of what is claimed, only when it is claimed.
Claiming
Claimable now is already in the vault. Waiting to collect is still in Float's coin vault. Float's bot collects it every few minutes, and we collect it again the moment you claim, so you get every last bit.
On claim we swap everything to SOL, take the 10% tipt fee and the network cost, and send the rest to the Solana address you paste. The minimum claim is $5. Unclaimed fees never expire.
Launch with code
Any coin whose Float fee receiver is a tipt vault counts as a tipt coin. It shows up on tipt and pays its X account, whether you launch here, from your own code, or on Float's own form (choose Other wallet and paste the vault).
1. Get the vault for an X account:
curl https://api.tipt.fun/api/x/elonmusk
{
"xId": "44196397",
"handle": "elonmusk",
"xName": "Elon Musk",
"avatar": "https://pbs.twimg.com/…",
"vault": "<vault address>"
}2. Launch on Float with fee_receiver set to that vault. Float's launch instruction takes name, ticker, uri, fee_receiver, fee_tier (0 = 1%, 1 = 2%, 2 = 2.5%) and mint_nonce. Or let us build the transaction for you and sign it with your own key:
const prep = await fetch("https://api.tipt.fun/api/launch/prepare", {
method: "POST",
headers: { "content-type": "application/json" },
body: JSON.stringify({
creator: wallet.publicKey.toBase58(),
name: "My Coin",
ticker: "MINE",
uri: "https://…/metadata.json",
handle: "elonmusk",
quoteMint: "So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112",
tier: 2,
devBuyLamports: 0,
}),
}).then((r) => r.json());
for (const b64 of prep.tx) {
const tx = VersionedTransaction.deserialize(Buffer.from(b64, "base64"));
tx.sign([wallet]);
await connection.sendTransaction(tx);
}3. That's it. Our stream sees the launch on chain and lists the coin within seconds.
Risks
Coins are highly speculative. Most lose value, and you can lose everything you put in.
Fees wait in vault wallets that tipt's servers control until the owner claims. Tokenized stocks are issued by third parties who can pause or move them. Float's program has not had an outside audit. Prices shown come from on-chain data and can be delayed or wrong.
tipt is not affiliated with X, or with any account a coin is made for. A coin made for an account does not mean that account supports it.
